quick flower blip

I went to Bantry this morning and finally got to meet the delightful Freespiral. We had coffee with BAT as well and a great chat. Most pleasant.
There are plans for a proper West Cork blipmeet in progress too so watch this space.

This afternoon it was back to Baltimore and hours of potting surfinias. I had my camera with me throughout the day but hadn't really spotted anything blipworthy until I was driving home. Then I found I hadnt put the memory card back in the camera last night.
So it was a late stroll in the garden where I was pleased to find these fritillaries just starting to open.

Its still very cold.
