Morning after night before

Slept really well, woke up at 8.20……really 9.20, got,up and ready, as middle son, dil and the little girls were calling to mine for a quick visit, having slept over at daughters after the halloween shenanigans last night. 

They were all really tired, having not slept that well or for long enough! We just sat around and chatted, Olivia, came and sat in the chair with me playing on my ipad.  Loved her hair, she had the bun on top, eight little plaits hanging down, spiders legs, and she did have two goggly eyes on the front of her bun last night :-) 

Middle son wanted to go out to the summerhouse to talk to his dad, dil and gils went too…..Dil and isabella came back in first, then Olivia, with tears rolling down her little cheeks, followed by dad in floods. It seems that Dad was explaining to Olivia, 8, that grandad was inside the lava stone,  at which point Olivia took the throw off the back off the sofa and wrapped it around “grandad” to keep him warm……need less to say it was very emosh and we all ended up in tears…….god bless Isabella, 6, who said why you all crying, is it because grandad died? 

Once we said our goodbyes, after lots of big tight hugs, I went back inside, had a good oll cry…..then got myself together, packed  another bag, as I am off to my sis’s for dinner and an overnight stay.
We Re going to see Collabro at the Lowry tonight, Will be off  to get ready shortly.  Bil is droppng us off and picking us up….its absolutely pouring down here !! 

Am looking forward to seeing them, we have seen them several times, usually with hub, or mum…..now both are gone.  I hope they dont sing a certain song, one that we had at hubs funeral, think that may well finish me. off today :-/ 

Ive had a glass or wine to bolster me lol
