Littlehampton
I'm fitting a lot in because in 10 days time we move into our new place, and two days later I start chemo. Walked at Littlehampton West beach today, bitterly cold especially coming back when the wind was in our faces. The thigh muscles know they've had a work-out as its all heavy pebbles there. The long groyne warns where the river comes into the sea, in large you might just see a boat that came bouncing out of the river mouth and away to the south. I liked this lone little soul playing at Canute who in fact was based not much further down the coast at Bosham where his little daughter is said to have been drowned and buried.
I had a coupon for cream tea so we stopped at the garden centre on the way back, can't pass up an opportunity like that. Blessing of Blessings, the sun came out and we could walk around in comfort. Wasn't our usual watering place and we were impressed by the quality and price of the plants. Will be going back once we've got a garden to garden. Not long now!
Wishing everyone a very Happy Easter :-)
