Riding The Breeze

I watched the action on the other side of the lake as gulls circled around to coast along on the stiff breeze down the length of the lake. Not much chance of a sharp image from so far away, but to be honest I didn't try very hard. It's more the experience I was hoping to capture.

I toyed with placing the land/water divide in the centre vertically which didn't seem to work. I felt the same about positioning the bird dead centre, although it is centred horizontally. The usual advice is to allow more space for a subject to move into, but not in this case.
