What a difference 48 hours makes. Today I walked the circular route via the park that was impassable on Thursday, approaching the previously flooded area from the other side of Stock Beck. 

I’ve gone for the minimalist shot of a bit of plant left on the fence after the flooding.  The first extra shows the River Rothay with the park on the left and there’s a lot more debris on the fence there indicating the height the water reached. For anyone who prefers the view from Nab Scar to Fairfield there’s a second extra.
