Mrs Swan and youngster have a wander along the prom at Waterhead. I've added a few extras. 

The morning started dull and wet. At 10 o'clock it brightened a little and until  2 o'clock was showery. Then the sun appeared. By the time I reached Waterhead it was cloudy again but it stayed dry.
