Other worldly
As Mrs P had already seen the Botanic gardens and strongly recommended them, I followed suit today and had a peek. She knows me well! I was in blip heaven as the gardens had some really impressive cacti and succulents. They are fairly old gardens dating back hundreds of years and formally belongs to the Valencian university. I must say, I found it easy to spend a couple of hours admiring the gardens, a real oasis in the city which offers you the opportunity to relax in its shaded fountains and under the canopy of exotic palms. The highlight are the range of succulents from mostly the Americas and Asia. I felt i was in Arizona or some Mexican desert.!
