Relaxing in the rain

Not sure why deer often seem to enjoy lying in unsheltered places when it's pouring rain. I spotted the buck outside the garden fence munching on fig leaves and tried to get a photo, but he walked away when I opened the gate. I spotted him later and went out on the porch to take this one. A bit on an EB. It's so wet today that I decided not to go for a walk and caught up on some inside things instead. The rain can be seen better in large view.
