I was off to Peebles first thing this morning - in the dark and on flooded roads.
It was an interesting drive.
The car was left for its service and MOT and I left with a courtesy car.

Mid afternoon SWMBO and I headed back to the garage to drop of the borrowed car and collect mine.
A new set of brake pads on the front and cleaning of the rear ones and that was it.
On the way home we stopped off at my sister to meet Betsie .... and to have a coffee with my sister. 
Looking out the window the clouds started heading to the ground. When the colour arrived we thought it was about to head for home.
By the time we got home the clouds were seriously on the ground ...... and I realised that I couldn't find my house keys. Luckily SWMBO had hers so we could get in. Searching the car, all my pockets (including the ones in the clothes I had worn while turning in the morning) and phoning my sister failed to find them. I will need to phone the garage tomorrow.
After that I will need to see about ordering a new memory and having another set of keys cut ..... had attaching a huge wooden key fob.
