Holiday plans!

Finally got our flu jabs! Now we just need our COVID booster shots - then we’re ready for the winter.

I’m enjoying the series ‘Expert Witness’, which I happened to come across the other day - it’s morning TV, so easily overlooked. It’s a fascinating series about how ‘cold cases’ are now able to be solved by the advances in DNA and forensic methods. What a rewarding job - to be able to convict murderers decades later, when they thought they’d got off with it. Also, forged paintings can be detected. 

It was a dreich, miserable afternoon - what else to do but plan a nice wee (luxury) holiday for next spring? Hazel came over, as we’ve been procrastinating for the last month or so. Time for action - she got on the phone to the holiday company and gave our requests. It will feature some of our favourite things - bubbles. And food.
