Filling The Space At The Side Of The Road

On our lunchtime walk, I noticed all these seed husks filling the space at the side of the road. I think (and happy to be corrected) that they are beech nut husks.

Just a short walk at lunchtime as Dylan and I had Hoopers, our puppy agility class in the evening. We were the only ones there tonight. It was really good as we could really concentrate on what we needed with no distractions. Dylan loved it and by the end was happily doing the full course with me being at a (slight) distance.
