A Single Welly In Their Beach Bag
Woke up to the sound of seagulls this morning which made a nice change from the normal squawking pheasants that we have in our village.
After breakfast we headed straight out to beat the crowds at Robin Hood’s Bay and it was lovely to have have a peaceful wander around the village before the half term crowds arrived. I loved these quirky lost and abandoned wellies that someone had used to decorate the walls and wondered how many parents got home to find a single welly in their beach bags.
We had a lovely walk along the beach and nearly made it to the Ravenscar seals but due to the tides we decided not to risk it and turned back before we got stranded. We took part of the Cleveland Way along the cliff top and so had a lovely view (see extra) as we dropped back into the village...just as the predicted rain came in.
