Encore

We felt we didn't do full justice to the site we visited on a fungus walk last week, and a few were keen to return. Today looked the best day for weather. No rain, but pretty windy.  We found quite a few additional species, either because they weren't fruiting last week, or we missed them. Here are 3 of the extra species - this one is Cantharellus tubaeformis - Trumpet Chanterelle. In extras are Cordyceps militaris - Scarlet Caterpillar fungus and Gliophorus psittacinus  - Parrot Waxcap
