Infinity Mountain Lake

The water was pouring into this little reservoir that is used for snow making  towards the beginning of the ski season, hence the ripples. I don’t know who turns the water off but there was no one around and I have never seen it so full! Soon it will freeze over protecting the water supply underneath the ice. Always a lovely walk in this area of Les Chaux and along the ridge in the sunshine (extra). The north sides of the valleys are all in deep shadow now as the days shorten so you have to pick your routes carefully.

This morning I had left my camera at home by accident, rushing too much when Julie-Anne arrived to pick me up! That must be the first time for almost 10 years of blipping. Phone to the rescue!
