Mother Nature is answering the Emergency Call to put out this vibrant blazing red Burning Bush that sits next to our creeping phlox bed. It’s perfectly placed to block out our neighbors across the street and anyone who passes by, at least until the leaves are gone • This ornamental dwarf bush has been randomly dropping leaves over the past couple of weeks creating its own brilliant red carpet beneath, but once the high winds forecasted for overnight and tomorrow blow through our Autumn landscape, it will be stripped bare, fully exposed for all to see. All of the other trees will be naked too • MrsP and I relate to being revealed because our lilac trees and fall beauty will no longer be able to protect our privacy, but they will remain as proud natural barriers between our little slice of heaven and the outside world • We will all look forward to the return of leaves.
