Big Eats - Big Tot!

Formal dinners are very much like swans paddling, the diners turn up in the evening and have a great time, the venue staff and dinner organisers are working like mad before and during the event to ensure that all goes well.
We were out at the Greenbank decorating the room, place cards, menu cards etc, all the paraphernalia that goes with it.

Home for a brief rest before dressing and heading off, Mrs S is working tomorrow so offered to drive and it cannot be too late a night as, along with a few other diners, I am committed to the Veterans Breakfast tomorrow morning followed by rowing at mid-day.

It was a great night, good food, good company and good speeches, the only down side, the Rum Bosun got a little carried away and we all enjoyed a larger than normal tot of ‘Nelsons Blood’.
