Porridge Spurtle

What a great word! Not one that you can easily work into conversation but a nice one, nevertheless.

It was the first day of my week off for half term. Leo’s girlfriend is off for a family stay the rest of the week so we made the most of the day both were about for a bowling trip followed by pizza.  I don’t really enjoy bowling but the good thing is that is located near Exeter Quay so we could mooch about the gift and antique shops afterwards and walk off a bit of pizza.

Extras are of bowling fun and the nice blue sky for our stroll along the quay.

Ian only has Tuesday off them he is back to work so we will have to figure out something nice to do on his last day of freedom.
