The Fall & the fallen

Well, I slept in our room (my new room), slept really well, only woke once, alarm went off! 

Up and straight into the ensuite, no need to trot nextdoor :-)  Once Id done my hair, had breakfast, I decided to drive into town as time was getting on.
Collected my ring from the  jewellers, have decided not to have a new different type of emerald mounted, as it will never be the same as it was when hub bought it for me :-/ 

Bought some lounge pants for sitting around T night in, a birthday card, then went into Costa for my flat white ;-) always nice 

It was quite sunny so decided to go for a walk before getting back in the car…….took the route I used to walk when hub waited for me in the car, drinking his coffee.  Todays blip is quite moving for me……the sunshine on the trees and fallen leaves gives it a real autumnal feel too. 

Once back to the car, which was parked one space along from where I used to leave hub, i sat just remembering <3 

Once back at home, put things away, then I logged on a little early as there was a particular task I wanted to get out of thr way before I started proper.  Then it was a dash to grab a bit of lunch before 1pm……..quick spaghetti on toast, took a plum & an apple, with my brew, up into the office, made it must in time for my 1pm Teams  catch up meeting. 

Felt a bit more in control today, got more done, still waiting on the big monitors, but didn't end up with a bad headache which was a bonus.  Was gone 5.30 when I logged off :-/

Next it was teatime, pan fried honey & soy glazed salmon, with stir fried veg in oyster sauce and spicy dried noodles ….was delish! 

A quick wash and brush up then off in the car to camera club……an enjoyable two hours looking at black & white v colour prints. its made me want to go back through my images and look more closely at what might look good as a mono! 

Well, its now 11.30,  Pilates in the morning…..so time I was heading to bed.  Hope I sleep as well again tonight.
