Rose

Its been a fairly sunny day with the odd brief shower.  We took our grandson to Bicton Park in the morning.  He was fascinated by a small stream with lots of water boatman swimming around.  The gardens still have a lot of flowers around, I managed a quick shot of this rose before we headed back home for lunch.

In the afternoon I took our grandson out for a ride on his trike to the beach and met up with a friend on the way.  We all wandered over to the playground and then along the beach where distant clouds across the estuary appeared to be heading our way.  Luckily we got back home before any rain.
