Tea..?

Bittoo brought a flask of cardamom and clove flavoured tea to enjoy before and after our long walk this afternoon. Perfect. Peanut biscuits too. What a girl!

We arrived in a heavy rain shower and sat tight as my car steamed up from our tea, waiting for the rain to pass. When it did we enjoyed the walk from Lullingstone to Eynsford, firstly following the river then back, up along the ridge with fantastic views across the Kent countryside. Back to the car and another cuppa. Notice her pink trainer laces.

Big disappointment this morning when Valerie learnt she’s not on the list to begin her chemotherapy this week. She, her family and we really want to get this started. Learning to be patient and to trust the timing.
