Floor
Desperation blipped the newly tightened up and oiled floor downstairs, not forgetting the excessive lighting possibilities. I think you can see that the wall probably needs repainting, but I think that can wait.
The floor was laid just over a year ago and had dried out and shrunk. This was foreseen and so the floor was cunningly made in such a way that it could be simply tightened up and screwed down. The wood oil/wax hides the glaring imperfections of the wood quite well, but the idea wasn't to have it too perfect.
