Boy did it Rain Today!

It was raining when I woke up this morning - in fact, it woke me up...well the overflowing gutters did. By midday alerts were sounding on my phone announcing severe weather in the form of thunderstorms. For a very short while we had the most intense rain I think I've seen in Oregon - like a nor'easter at it's worst in New England. But it quickly subsided and the severe weather moved along. Now it's quite windy and the trees are quickly shedding their leaves. 

I thought for a brief moment that I could go out and work in the garden when we had a sun break....but everything was absolutely sodden. So I settled for a few wet photos ;-)

Geranium 'Rozanne' is till blooming if you can believe it! Probably not for long though.
