Old farms
The sun was low across the land when I drove D. to school this morning, earlier than usual so he could get some calculus help. Some dramatic clouds were rolling in, though they'd dissipated by the time I drove back home, and the moon was setting. The extra shows the view from the country fairgrounds driveway. Anyway, it was a pretty morning to drive straight west through the Loudoun Valley, with the illuminated Blue Ridge straight ahead and the (much smaller) Catoctin Ridge backlit behind us.
An early night for me; I drive to Charlottesville in the morning to visit I.
Have a good weekend!
