Autumn!

Bit short of a blip today but I passed this glorious splash of colour growing in a neighbour’s front garden and it shouted (in tree-speak) “Blip me!” I think it’s some kind of prunus but not entirely sure.

It’s a chilly here in Cambridgeshire but still lovely and tree colours everywhere are developing nicely. This evening I’m getting ready for my first train journey to London tomorrow - the first time since January 2020. I’m meeting my youngest son and his partner for a real life visit to their newish flat instead of a virtual tour. Then we’re going to lunch in a Middle Eastern restaurant they’ve recently discovered. So it’ll be my favourite people and my favourite cuisine all in one. Happy weekend dear blippers!
