WILD WEDNESDAY

It's Wild Wednesday and nothing is more wild than wind surfing in California dodging sea lions and sharks in every big wave. YEEEE HA!

When I first saw this "sport" I thought the surfers had to be incredibly strong to keep from losing their grip on that apparatus. Close inspection revealed that the kite is attached to a large device strapped around the waist and the arms manipulated a bar and rope contraption that is used to steer the whole thing. Gotta be tough on the lower back.
