GIRL'S CROSS COUNTRY

I was at the XC Sub-regional competition this afternoon to shoot some action shots for the local news. This is the girl's varsity team from our local high school. The state commissioners divided all the schools (12...I believe) into two separate groups so that the field wouldn't be too crowded in deference to the COVID-19 experience. The top two teams move on to Regional competition, then Sectional competition and then on to the State Meet. In addition, the top 5 runners for both boys and girls move on to the next level.

The 2nd (bib 1596) and 3rd (bib 1592) runners from the right were our two top finishers. #1596 took second place overall. She will advance to Regional competition.
