It’s not just the deciduous variety that are falling round here. This van is full of broadband kit being installed to enable another media company compete for everyone’s internet activities. (Wayleaves are legally binding agreements to enable the service providers access over private property.)

This van is not the tidiest one I have ever seen. By contrast our electrician spent the morning checking all our home electrical systems and his van was highly organised! He also gave our house a clean bill of electrical health.

We took a car load of recycling to the local centre and had a visit from a garden contractor to give us a quote for some landscaping work.

Covid rates here in Gloucestershire had been some of the lowest in the country. However, a faulty testing lab in Wolverhampton had returned many false negatives and now the true picture has emerged and we are suddenly catapulted into an area of high infections. Hey ho.
