Thornham Harbour

The harbour in Thornham was once a busy port but that was a long time ago and this building and some rotting staging posts are all that remains, plus a few boats still moored in the river estuary. The sea is only accessible at high tide.
A remarkably warm day accompanied by a strong SW wind. Rain early morning, followed by sun in the middle of the day. We met Ms S's friend Maureen at Wiveton Hall for lunch, sitting in a wooden 'summer house' to shelter from the wind. It was good to meet up and enjoy a short walk around the garden before going into Cley for afternoon tea and cake.
