Brancaster Beach

A walk on Brancaster Beach this morning. The tide was very low exposing the various sand bars and the deep channel leading to Brancaster Staithe (harbour.) There were many birds feeding in the channels and on the sand, but keeping away from the large number of people enjoying the open space and their calls. The light was soft from the milky sun but the contrast on the reflective surfaces made balancing images difficult.
