Look, no hands!

The mechanized garbage truck has evolved since its humbler beginnings, but the first set-up in which wheeled garbage containers were mechanically tipped into a truck was invented in 1937 by George Dempster. He called it the Dempster-Dumpster System. :-)

If this were in color, you could also appreciate the fine blue autumn sky, puffy clouds and red-tinged maples in the background.
