A new car has been found for the boy. He’s now out running various errands just because he can. Somewhat over budget and he is distraught at having to transfer a 4 figure sum to my bank account. I think he’s realised that grown upping is overrated.

Ion the kitchen appears to have gone back to building site mode - plasterer and the electricians are back. Paul has installed the dishwasher and apparently is was a “fucking nightmare”. Honestly my sign language skills are coming on in leaps and bounds.
