The days are long but the years are fast

The main event today was a play date and lunch for E's friends and, as they all have birthdays just days apart, a cake, with candles. Two years ago, two newborns had arrived (J and L) and two babies were very soon to be born (O and E). Wow. And E sang "Two little dickie birds" beautifully and unprompted today. It was Chris's first overnight work trip too.
