2021 Saturday — Alternate Route

We left our little coast house just before 7:30 this morning. I was pretty sure we weren’t early enough to dodge the Saturday fun seeker traffic of Los Angeles, and I was right.

As we entered the greater LA Basin we were looking for alternate routes to miss the congested highway ahead of us. This photo was our trek down Highway 39 from the 210 Freeway to the 10 Freeway. The traffic coming out the east side of LA was thick.

We arrived to our SoCal house safely and we were delighted to be off the highway and to find our house very cool inside.
