A Big Smile After The Cheese Rooms, Rochester

Started today with a longish run and felt all the better for it even though we were both flagging slightly towards the end. A good soak and a snooze afterward was required and then it was time for the weekly shop. We always treat ourselves to a drink or a bite to eat afterwards as our reward.
This time we popped over to Rochester and decided to make our first visit to the Cheese Rooms, a cafe/deli on the High Street. It was a really good choice as it was cosy and atmospheric with friendly staff. We had a bacon and cheese (of course!) brioche bun washed down with a bottle of German lager. It was delicious so will will definitely be going back again. This also gave me the title for today's image.
Extra is called "Property Sultants (Talk To Us)". I loved it's commitment to out there decor!
To add to the good day we watched the last episode of Queen's Gambit after we'd put all the food shopping away. It was superb and we have loved the series so much that we have been watching it sooooo much more slowly than everyone else just so we could savour it's brilliance.
