A Funghi Day at Aberlady
I had rolls made and a 90 minute ride done on Zwift before Rosemary was out of her pit today.
Then we headed to meet friends and head down to Aberlady on the bus. It was a good start at the bay, with little egrets, shelduck, redshanks and a fair selection of other birds looking for juicy things in the mud.
We then had a long walk round to Gullane. Despite carrying my big lens for hours, I got the macro out for this alien looking mushroom. It was starting to get dark and the rain had started. So maybe it was time to head home.
There was a 'look at what you might have won' when we passed the new ice cream shop in Gullane on the bus. Rosemary did a Google and they had ice-cream on brioche buns on the menu! Next time......
It was pizza for dinner though as it was late and we were tired.
