Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Onesiphorus Tyndall Bruce - that's a mouthful!

I was early this morning to show somebody around our church hall so I decided as I was on a roll I'd head into Fife. I stopped first in Kinross and dropped off some stuff into the Chas shop there. Several of my pupils made good use of the hospice from the day it opened - its respite services as well as its palliative care service so I have great respect for its work.
After a wander around Kinross I went to Loch Leven's Larder and popped into the gift shop for a few bits and pieces. The restaurant was very busy and i decided not to wait 30 minutes for a table.
I decided to pop over to Falkland instead and had a very pleasant bowl of soup in the Bruce Hotel. The statue in my blip was just across the road. What a fabulous name, really runs off the tongue doesn't it. I wonder what his brother was called.. - Jim?
I came back home via Dobbies at Dunfermline and stocked up on some odds and ends for the fish.
Ali and family had an exciting day out to celebrate her birthday so I'm going to visit tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing not only the new grandaughter but the other two as well, they'll be here at 9 as their mum is doing a 10k in the Borders. Better her than me.
Keep safe and well everyone.
