Quarr Abbey

Our last morning on the Isle of Wight and after a cloudy start, there was more sunshine.
We packed up our cottage and then visited Quarr Abbey whilst waiting for our ferry crossing. It was another chance to look for red squirrels in the woods there, but Tufty was still in hiding. We did see some very cute tiny piglets though and have nice cake, so it wasn’t all disappointing.
Our ferry crossing was plain sailing (groan) and we enjoyed sitting on the deck in the sunshine, feeling as if we were abroad.
Driving back to Wales now. It’ll probably be raining there :/
