Sintra

Today we got the train to a place called Sintra, it has many palaces, castles and monuments and a lovely little village. It’s about 40 mins outside of Lisbon.

We just opted for the one Palace which was Pena Palace. I think it looks a bit like a toy town and very much reminded me of it’s a small world ride in Disney. Very beautiful inside as well but the views from the top were amazing. Was a bit scary going up to it on a bus with the sheer drops the other side.

After the palace we headed to Sintra Vila which is a lovely little village so cute. It had lots of lovely restaurants/bars and little trinket shops. We found a great place for lunch, could have sat there all day.

Tonight we have had a few drinks and enjoyed a yummy Italian meal.
