Growing together

I took this around 9:30am because I wasn’t sure if I’d have a chance to take any other photos today. And I didn’t. I’ve been looking through the kitchen window at this cedar and alder combination for a few days and decided that today is the day to blip it. I had an appointment in Victoria late this afternoon, and I’m happy that I can post this while we’re sitting waiting for the ferry. The terminal is crazy busy, with stand by available only on the 11pm ferry to the mainland, and it’s just after 6 as I type. Happy we aren’t going to the mainland! The ticket agent said that it’s been busy like this all week. No idea why.
