Red Hot Poker

A fairly cloudy day today and we spent the morning exploring the interior of Romsey Abbey followed by a walk up to the old mill.

In the afternoon we visited the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens where two of us spent some time enjoying taking photos and our respective partners stood around chatting waiting patiently. A delightful garden with still a lot of colour around and some beautiful scented flowers. These orange red hot poker flowers were spotted at the beginning of our walk and we later enjoyed some lovely close up peeling bark shots and more red hot poker plants with a background of autumnal trees. Lots of photos to look at once l am back home.

Another enjoyable day and relaxed evening meal.
