Shadows
Its been a beautifully sunny day and not as windy as yesterday. Our daughter's family were heading home after lunch but this gave us time for a quick walk along the seafront. The shadows from the beach huts gave a natural abstract for today's abstract Thursday with its 'natural theme'. I was tempted to turn it into black and white but it would have lost its natural theme.
Today many other areas including London were added to the higher alert level of Tier 2 from Saturday and the Mayor of Greater Manchester is opposed to the Tier 3 tightest restrictions that are planned. Liverpool is already at this level. Todays daily new cases is 18980 in the UK. We are fortunate so far in the South West being in the Tier 1 category and other than the Exeter University area the numbers are relatively low. Our current restrictions include meeting families and friends in groups of 6 or less, pubs bars and restaurants closed by 10pm and face masks are required in indoor environments. Looks like the second wave is certainly here it may have made it a lot easier with a good track and trace system in place.
