Sandstone Trail

The rocky paths on the sandstone escarpment, just south of Frodsham in Cheshire, offer a lovely varied walk, with some attractive woodland and  from Helsby Hill, at the Western end, terrific views across the Mersey estuary. There were also lots of horses.
