A visit to a small animal photography centre
Four of us from the camera club had a fabulous day: we visited a centre for photography of small creatures. The guy who runs it has an amazing setup, with props for the creatures and excellent lights. It was, of course, still up to us to take the photos - not always easy with little creatures who won't keep still for long! Needless to say, rapid fire was used extensively and I took more photos in a day than I've ever taken before - a VERY extensive deleting session will be necessary!
I've only had time so far to process a few of the photos (I can feel a Google album coming on but it may be some time). However here's a red-eyed tree frog in the main blip, with (in the extras) a pair of tiny harvest mice having a "kiss", a chameleon grabbing a beetle, and a praying mantis against the "sun".
Lucky us.
