The daily trudge

Still no end to the winter weather in sight and there'd been fresh snow on the paths and roads again overnight so it was another morning trudging through the white stuff. Grace was back at school today after two days' quarantine following her sickness on Sunday night. She has had a good day. One of her friends' mum brought in a pet lamb from their farm in the morning and in the afternoon the class wove Easter baskets from paper and made cards. It was Ophelia's last day at preschool before the holidays and she went to an Easter fun day with her class where there was a bouncy castle and also some face painting. I spent the morning with Arwen on a baby play date at her friend Effie's house. Baby Lyra and her mum were there too. After school my three girls had another play date. Gives me a grand chance to catch up with mummy friends too, which is always nice.
