Overload

Not a rant, more of an unburden. Mrs S and I were matching calendars and looking at the odd day we have together.
It’s not a Mrs S problem it’s an inability to say no; currently RNA Chairman, RBL Penryn Branch Member, RBL Cornwall County Committee Member, Commonwealth War Graves Commission Volunteer, EPIC GIGability Rower & PR/Media Rep, Falmouth & Penryn Veterans Breakfast Club Co-Ordinator, Falmouth Rugby Club Volunteer, you get my drift.

So coffee today with my friend Steve, ex Coldstream Guardsman, sitting in the sun chatting and I mention that “I’m all veteraned out” and I get a “yeah no way” in reply.
I think back to reading today’s Falmouth Packet this morning, (the extra), although it appears under someone else’s name it’s almost all my work and that gives me some satisfaction.

Great lunch time sat in the sun looking at a crowded Falmouth, according to Mrs S still a lot of holiday makers about, she says these are from the “Newly Wed & Nearly Dead” groups.

Pedicure at Annie’s Shed set me on the road to a relaxing afternoon.
