So proud

My beautiful girl keeps surprising me. I love her for it.
The more she grows, the more I see her build in confidence. She was one of those little people who would rather sit on your knee at a party than join in, would hang back at soft play unless you went too. You can see in her eyes still that sometimes she wants to go do things but is just too scared.
She's been doing Judo lessons at school for a few years now. She's slim, light and not particularly tough so she struggles a bit with having confidence that she could ever be any good. She rarely wins bouts but she is showing a persistence that makes me really proud.
She went to 3 days of Judo school this week (we're on our Easter hols here) and I think she's an absolute star for doing so.
