more Vermont

These are the Thundering Falls at low speed and wide open to get it bright as they were in shade.A quick beautiful walk that connects to the Appalachian trail  . ( I walked about 100 yds of the AT but didn't want to dare more in sneakers) The leaves in extras were on the trail. A beautiful warm day that started out with breakfast from the Red hen bakery ( if you are ever in Middlesex VT don't hesitate to stop there but order on line busy busy busy and fantastic patisserie- yes kouign aman!) with Fi on the porch of the north Branch Nature Center . Then we walked their trail for about an hour ,packed up to go home and went to Cold Hollow Cider for  cider and apple cider donuts. Also well worth it. And yes I am currently eating cheese crackers so I don't crash after eating a pastry for dinner. And donuts all afternoon. We did stop for lunch at Killington  so I wasn't totally bad today . Just close. and chocolate - coconut almond hot chocolate. Amazing.
