Kastraki beach near Tolo

Down to the Peloponese for a little trip to stay with my very good old friend Peter, who has finally made it over from the UK again, after 2 years of enforced absence. His wonderful rustic village house, which he restored himself many decades ago, was very much the inspiration for ours. This time his daughter, son-in-law and 3-year-old granddaughter have come from Holland too, in a campervan.
We had a late afternoon swim at this nearby beach, Kastraki, which is right next to Ancient Assini. It didn't used to have sunshades and sunbeds on it but otherwise seems to have changed little since the old days when we used to come here, over 30 years ago.
