Sundowner

Not in the dementia sense. Not yet anyway! It was our hottest day so far today. About 27°C. We had to move the car or start paying for parking, so we decided to take it to the Cabanyal (Valencia’s beach area) so that we could cool down by the sea. We thought that it would be really quiet but turns out today was a National holiday and the beach was packed! We eventually got parked (fortuitously near the police station) and enjoyed a refreshing swim and then as we’d abandoned the car, paella and drinks. Back to the flat by underground late afternoon and then chilled for the rest of the day. We’ve packed a lot in over the last few days and we needed some rest and relaxation.
