At least four different red squirrels come to my mother‘s bird feeders to snack on sunflower seeds.

The day started with me finding my mother on the kitchen floor - again. Thankfully she hadn’t hurt herself, but to me it was clear that she can’t find the way from her bed to the bathroom anymore, even though they are wall to wall.

It‘s equally clear that she can’t be left alone at all. 

My near future is looking very bleak. I am still searching for help, and also have an appointment at a care home on Thursday. But if course they have a long waiting list, and private carers are few and far between. I could be alone in this situation for months.
